Across Texas, too many systems only respond after families are already in crisis—when children enter foster care, youth encounter the justice system, or households face economic instability.

The Texas Family Wellbeing Initiative (TFWI) exists to help change that.

We believe families and communities already possess the strength, wisdom, and resilience needed to thrive. When systems work alongside communities—rather than stepping in after harm has occurred—families can access the support, opportunity, and stability they need to flourish.

TFWI brings together community leaders, organizations, and institutions to create coordinated solutions that strengthen families early, expand opportunity for youth, and build healthier communities across Texas.
