This Program brings a plethora of components and helpful resources to the collaborative, working in tandem to address various aspects of family wellbeing.

Future Innovators

The ‘Future Innovators Program’ will expose youth and families to the world of artificial intelligence, fostering an early appreciation for science and technology. Youth and families in Texas face numerous challenges, including limited access to quality education, skill development opportunities, and pathways to meaningful employment. It does not matter if they are young or old; everyone becomes a teachable student!

Trade Skills for Success

Provides comprehensive training in various vocational and technological skills to children, youth, and families.

Vocational Trade Skills for Success Training:

 Courses Offered: welding, carpentry, plumbing, cosmetology, automotive

restoration, and other trade skills.

 Duration: 12-month training programs.

 Outcomes: certification upon completion, readiness for internships.

Technological Skills for Success Training:

 Courses Offered: Basic Computer Skills, Coding, Data Analysis, and AI Fundamentals.

 Duration: 12-month training programs.

 Outcomes: Proficiency in essential tech skills, readiness for internships

Community Health: Support Services

The East Texas Cares Resource Center will manage our Community Health: Family Supportive Services program, which is designed to provide comprehensive support to individuals and families facing homelessness or living in unstable housing conditions. This program aims to address immediate needs and create long-term solutions for housing stability.
